"Acid Modernism"

This space is perhaps the most unbelievable, well thought out, home I have ever laid my eyes on. Thank goodness that there is an entire video displaying all its spectacular features. {video found here} I'm not sure which I want more... the natural lighthouse located on the top floor or the xylophone dinner table. Take a look for yourself.

Scented Bliss

Goodness, I haven't done a product review in a while. Luckily I was given a tremendous gift that has since changed my home forever. Type Lite Candles is not your ordinary candle company. They are handmade by two former roommates whom share a passion for innovative design and of course scents that get their senses soaring. The great part about the candle itself is that it's made with soy wax and also has an all natural wood wick! {I'm loving the crackle and burn that the wood wick gives off}

Hope on over to their Etsy site to get one for yourself.

It's About Time

I thought this week was never going to end so HAPPY FRIDAY {in big bold screaming letters}. I'm lusting over these feather prints by River Luna and just purchased these from her Etsy shop. One of my goals for this year is to start sending handwritten, and personally hand drawn, cards to friends and loved ones. And now for a Friday tune...

Just Purchased...

I am over joyed with this purchase I just made and obviously had to share. The first two items are a set of tea towels and recipe cards. I fell in love with the fun vibrate pattern on the towels and have always wanted recipe cards to hand out to loved ones. As I was about to check out I found the yellow and white printed tea towel in the last photo. All of which were purchased from Leah Duncan an Austin, Texas based artist. I love one of the quotes on her website that describes her work as: quirky meets beautiful, folk meets modern and feminine meets delicate. Next on my list to buy from Leah are these beauties (hope you like them J)

New Designs

Creating designs by hand in Photoshop never seems to get old. I recently did these for the company I work for and then added my own personal touch to them in the end.

Some designs I just finished for work. Loving the embroideries and fun colors.
