Daily Dose of a Wonderful Place

This weekend did not turn out exactly as planned {friend's flights were canceled due to the storm}, but it was still pretty spectacular. One of the highlights was Scribe Winery, located in Sonoma County. This spectacular winery is totally off the beaten path, nestled on a hill and even has rope swings for your tipsy enjoyment. I suppose I should also mention the wine since that was the main reason we were there... it was sensational, one of the best Pinot Noirs I've ever tasted. It's taken me quite a while to blog about this epic dinner and perhaps its because I'm still in shock of what went down that night. Since moving to San Francisco I had heard about this unbelievable restaurant. Finally there was an occasion in which we could go dine there. {J's 24th birthday!} This place was unreal and I made sure to close my eyes to savor each bite. It's safe to say that I've never had a meal such as this one, and I might never again. Then again, never say never.

Happiness all around. Two of my best girls are coming to SF. Going out dancing tonight. Wine tasting all day tomorrow. Oh goodness, this weekend is shaping up to be marvelous.

Rue Magazine January Issue

Rue Magazine has done it again with this months stunning issue. I fell in love with all the small spaces that were featured but felt myself mostly drawn to the minimal bedrooms. I'm feeling very inspired to go home and spruce up my San Francisco flat. That wall/ corner of photos is just screaming to be recreated. Which bedroom is your favorite out of the three?
