Monday Morning Cup of Tea

Oh Monday mornings... we have such a love hate relationship. Today I like you, but the day isn't over yet so keep up this good behavior. I added the quote from my morning cup of tea to the amazingly vibrant photo above. I really liked this morning's message considering I'm a bit opinionated myself. Some people (a lot of people) need a generous reminder that they aren't always right in their typically close minded thinking.

I love taking a look inside other peoples homes. Lucky for me I don't have to be a total creep and can just go to The Shelby. These pictures are from the home of Michael Haney and Brooke Cundiff in NYC. I love the simplistic yet elegant layout of their entire home, as well as Brooke's shoe situation. Daily Dose of Fall Inspiration

The air is crisp and the leaves are falling (especially in my backyard), fall has arrived here in San Francisco. The strange thing about this wonderful city is that by next week it could be summer again. I'm really not complaining... I love our unusual weather and wearing lots of layers.

Favorite of The Week

I have been super into geometric shapes lately, so when I discovered the work of Belgium artist Jelle Martens I immediately fell in love. I adore the mix of nature, shapes and bright teal. I could definitely see one of these hanging on a wall in my house.

Wednesday Morning Cup of Tea

It's been a while since I have done one of these "Morning Cup of Tea" posts. The reason being is that I've been switching up my morning tea a lot lately and am really loving the Xiao's Blend from Peet's Coffee & Tea. However, this morning I went back to my usual cup of Vanilla Chai, with a splash of soy milk and honey, which also means I had a lovely quote at the end of my tea bag...

Sunny Days

I'm already craving the weekend and it's only Tuesday, this isn't good. J and I had a lovely day at the park this past Sunday and I'm really wishing we could be back there, reliving those couple hours, right now.  Ever since he got the latest Apple gadget (iphone 4s) I have constantly been snatching it to use Instagram. Here are two silly photos we took on Sunday, which I then added a fun graphic background to.

Fiesta

Tonight after work I will be heading straight to a Mexican themed dinner party. Growing up in Southern California made me a true Mexican food connoisseur, as well as a lover of the authentic culture. There are a couple essentials to throwing a themed dinner party and I was very happy to assist the host in the planning process. Music I'm Lovin'

The band Portugal The Man has captured my musical heart. I adore their psychedelic rock vibes and the fact that they all originate from the Pacific North West, Alaska and Oregon to be exact. Today has dragged on. Perhaps its because I had such a wonderful weekend complete with japanese shabu- shabu from here, lots of Mad Men watching and relaxation to the max. (I took some fun pictures that I will post soon) Waking up this morning was not fun. Hopefully this week gets better cause right now I'm wanting to drift away.

The Fillmore. San Francisco

There aren't too many things much better then the sweet sound of live music, in my opinion. A few nights ago J and I went to see Foster The People at The Fillmore here in San Francisco. It was my first time going to The Fillmore and I was blown away. The two level venue is filled with band's, artist's and dj's posters dating back to the 60's. I was in graphic design heaven, as well as music heaven cause I adore Foster the People. Here are some photos I snapped throughout the evening.
